A Half Marathon.... Have I lost my mind?

Dear stylish friends, The past couple months have been ones of rollercoaster emotions. One of my nieces has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. To say we all are devastated is an understatement. I am a person of action, though and since there is not much I can do for her (other than send her LOVE) I decided to do a charity run for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. A half marathon to be exact. Ummm I have never ran a race before. I am old and out of shape. I have NO idea if people will help out and donate so I can reach my goal. All I know is that I have to do something or I will go crazy! Please if you can help me and use the widget that I am installing on this blog to donate to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Let your friends know. Maybe in our lifetime we can beat these disease and no more children or adults will have to hear these chilling words from their doctor "You have cancer."
