I spent a lovely May day at the Antelope Vally Poppy Preserve with My granddaughters and my youngest daughter and her husband. Tarah had so much fun running down the trails with her nieces!
Moiren gets away from Tarah!
Two Beauties that bloom in the sun.
I wore my embroidered peasant top that I got from the thrift store. I felt so Early California in it :)
The golden path. Like walking on Sunshine!
We had packed a lovely lunch and then later met up with my friend Susan at a Beltaine Fest she was attending.
Susan with our friend D.J. at the Beltaine event. She looks cute in her wreath!
I made a wreath for Moiren!
Tarah making one for Chloe.
All in all it was a fun, but tiring day. I slept so soundly that night! If you live anywhere near California you HAVE to make the trip to see the flowers now. They won't last and the display is the best that is has been in decades.
